NWMLS Property Search Website Solutions for Real Estate Agents

At The Logical Dog Company, we focus on the successful utilization of NWMLS data on the web. This means fast and accurate online property searches for buyers and sellers, without obligation or registration. We provide this property search component by subscription to NWMLS brokers and qualified agents.

Website Design: We also have a strong team of artists and developers to help you formulate your entire marketing strategy, from a basic web presence to branding and brochures. We believe that the only way to stand out in this competitive northwest real estate market is with a unique, recognizable brand. It can be as simple as your name printed in a consistent font, or as detailed as a logo and theme.

Attention web designers! We'd love to work with you and we have a great hosting package that includes the NWMLS property search for qualified agents and companies. Call for more information.

Washington State

Interactive map
It's finally here! (I wouldn't release it until I liked it!) We're pleased to offer our new interactive map search. Take a look at the features and flexibility. You'll find it on www.lakere.com, www.taramfarquhar.com and on www.queenanneforsale.com. Look at Lake Real Estate's unique Public Open House search!
Let me know if you'd like to add this new search to your website! It's important to note that this is not a replacement for the other comprehensive search, but a way to get an overview of the neighborhoods.

Agent Blogs
July 2007
It's the latest greatest marketing tool and many of my clients are asking how to get on board! Blogging - agents have a lot of information we're willing to share and a blog is a great way to show our expertise on the subject of real estate. A blog can be part of your custom website, but my recommendation is to get involved as a contributer to an already existing, and highly visible, blog such as www.RainCityGuide.com or www.ActiveRain.com. REALTOR.com is getting on the bandwagon too, with blogs.realtor.com. It's just now in its infancy so you can get in on the ground floor. Perhaps you can grab the attention of some of the over 6 million unique users per month who visit REALTOR.com. More focused on the Northwest? Check out the Seattle PI's Real Estate blog. An agent pointed me to this blog and I thought you'd find it interesting: The Real Estate Tomato
Once you get into the habit of reading and commenting on the varied subjects on these blogs, you might get hooked and become a regular contributor. Then you might consider adding your own personal blog to your website.

Realtor.com
May 2007
Last month NWMLS announced that its agreement with Realtor.com would terminate and your listings would no longer be uploaded automatically to the realtor.com website. Many of you are not prepared to transition to a direct relationship with Realtor.com. Some of you may not even realize what you'll be losing or how it might affect your business. If you have questions, please talk with your fellow brokers and NWMLS board members. And of course I'd be happy to answer what questions I can. The deadline is June 1, 2007, which means that if you want to continue to feed your listings to realtor.com, you must act now!
For additional information, please visit feeds.theenterprise.com. The Logical Dog Company will take care of the technical part for our clients but unfortunately there will be a fee. Before we can get started, brokers must sign and fax the REALTOR.com® Designated Broker Data Content Provider Agreement for NWMLS Participants. Choosing Option One will allow us to upload the data and photos on your behalf.
